Now this is a cool thing. How old is you son? Does he already have a license to drive a car? How big is the training machine, and most of all, did he like riding it around.
I have a very clear memory of the huge pride I felt watching my daughter go through her training....exceeded only by our mutual ecstasy when she passed her DA test! GO Nikos Jr!
After the scuba diving fiasco I have not pushed my boy into anything - as a Father I regard myself as his adviser only, especially as he is about to learn about financial independence!
He is sensible enough although he took up cigarettes recently against my wishes - when my Mother in Law arrived in a hospital for the third time with a broken spine (no joking here), the doctor chastised her for riding on a motorcycle - she remarked that he was in no position to lecture as he smoked - 3 weeks late he was dead!
In case you were wondering her first broken spine at the age of 7 was caused by a bomb that hit the munitions factory that was connected by a tunnel to the air raid shelter where she was. Second time a roll over accident in a VW Beetle.
Yeah! Lucky lad.
ReplyDeleteHe'll be wanting a GSX600R next.

Pleased to see you're not sending Nikos Jr on a crash course!
