We are told in the latest missive handed down through Outlook:
“Thrive in Unpredictability”.
And then:
To succeed in these uncertain times, we need to have three key attributes:
- Line of sight: Ability to see around the next corner
This is a remarkable concept that I shall not rely on entirely whilst I'm taking my IAM test this Saturday!
PS I'm not telling you the other 2.
Meanie! Tell us the other 2, or I'll curse your IAM test.
ReplyDeleteNikos:
ReplyDeletethis looks very daunting, but I read that article and by the words of the examiner, looks fair.
I'm not sure how your licensing works, does this mean you can qualify for a much larger machine ?
anyway, good luck

ReplyDeleteBob: Thanks! This IAM Advanced Test is purely voluntary and may result in lower insurance premiums. Call it masochism if you like.
Does Tiff know that???
ReplyDeleteDear Nikos:
ReplyDeleteI have been writing crap like "Thrive In Unpredictability" for 31 years. The appropriate response is, "Okay."
What this statement actually says is,"We have more money than sense, and shit for brains." Stakeholders are loyal toadys who will recite corporate mantras right up until they are escorted by security out to the parking lot.
Someone once asked me for my corporate outlook. I said, "I will write 'Shit is blue' 10,000 times if the money is good. But if the money is better, I'll convince everyone I believe it."
Good luck on your IAM test.
Fondest regards,

ReplyDeleteThanks!
Shit is blue isn't it?

ReplyDeleteYes and thanks for asking!
And you?
