  1. A friends drives a Yeti. Seems quite the work horse. Oh, as for the pub... don't drink and drive, eh.

    1. Yes it's a real Tonka toy! Strictly cappuccino and lemon drizzle cake at 4pm on a freezing windswept Saturday afyernoon.

  6. What engine did you choose ? I am quite curious, I know, but I hear very different opinions about both, the 1.8 gasoline and the 2.0 diesel. Also the automated gearbox VAG uses - some say it's a gift, others call it Gift for driving.
I have no idea about MRQ, but know "QRX ruft Bretzelburg".

    1. I was quite prepared to revert to the 1,8 petrol engine, but this car was nearly new with the 170ps diesel. As I only tend to use a car for long journeys the issue with clogging dpfs should not effect me...As to the gearbox I borrowed a similar car with the 6 speed dsg and found it almost good! I don't like the way it changes mid bend but in tiptronic mode it's quite ok. The diesel has so much Drehmoment that I only use 3 of the 6 gears in my manual version! The best feature is the glass sun roof s OK I can enjoy the wonderful English summer whilst staying dry (that's before it starts to leak 1 day after the 3 year warranty expires).
