Great excitement abounds in Wiesbaden as we anticipate visitors from The Black Forest and the World Cup of course. |
The first hurdle for visitors is parking |
Whilst the tom cats take residence, Sonja and Roland had arrived! |
Here we all are standing on the fine lawns of the Kur House, Wiesbaden |
Roland is trying out the new googlemonocle |
These Thai cocktails and the weekend have been dealt with elsewhere much better |
Spot the international bloggers |
Next day we inspect the vines... |
...prior to eating a mid morning snackette. |
Exactly one week later I eat a "full English" in Sussex at Wessons cafe |
Regarding the parking, are cars "stacked"? And what comprises a "full English" breakfast?
ReplyDeleteIn this garage one below the other on a moveable double ramp, and, cholesterol.
DeleteA nice eclectic post.
ReplyDeleteLucky for us the Full English isn't like the Full Monty. ;-)
Obviously that could be arranged.
DeleteNikos:
ReplyDeletenever had a full English. Looks like egg(s), sausage and Ham with beans and toast. I guess the full english is the beans part. Here they give you hash browns, or fried potato bits. Can you get bacon & eggs there ? How about eggs benedicts ? that's poached eggs with ham on english muffin, smothered with Hollandaise sauce
. . . and what is the Full English Monty ?

You see Bacon and buttered bread on my plate. I could have ordered fried bread but my doctor would have had a fit. Ham and eggs is called "ham and eggs" over here. Eggs Benedict is available at Browns Restauarant in Oxford. Full English Monty is the nick name for a famous `beret wearing English General who saw off Rommel at El Alamein.
DeleteHey, that Sonja and Rolland keep showing up all over the place or other people keep showing up where Sonja and Rolland are. Looked like fun and a lot of cholesterol.
ReplyDeleteMeeting nice people, cholesterol, what the hell - we live!

DeleteI read that you had sex on the beach?! You'd need a full English after that.

Ha! I had to make do with curry wurst smiley face on that fleeting occasion!!
DeleteI shudder at the sight of English breakfast, but I have to admit, the curry wurst doesn't look much more attractive to me. Give me another sex on the beach instead.
ReplyDeletecome on over!
DeleteTomorrow I fly to Berlin - hope I won't have to "put a stop to the recent problems" that often :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! German drainage works perfectly and to order naturlich!!
