The Same Procedure as Every Year

Well almost...

Mrs N is a giraffe and I'm a cow.

And I was given plenty of advice on milking techniques during the Wiesbaden Helau Carneval Parade thank you so much

In other news:

Discovered in a second hand shop in Biebrich costing €0.66 - was this album Joan Baez's nemesis or is this a "music for pleasure" lookalike?

  5. Thanks Nikos for the comment. Still looking for the breakdown dictionary you mentioned... Spanish, was it? I had a BM some years back - a gold R100RS. Nice bike and I later had a 2-pak acrylic paint job done on it of the sparkly cosmos in 3D! It was a great touring bike for Europe. I had a look a GS recently and I have to say that I would never buy one for travelling cross-country in North Africa. Far too heavy, high and voluminous in my humble opinion. Maybe a Honda CB500X or better still, a frugal lightweight 250 - but maybe not my Suzuki Inazuma 250 road bike! I travel solo and the thought of lying under a fully-laden GS in the desert sand worries me a bit. Plus, aluminium Touratech-style boxes aka Round-The-World trips - well, they're just wrong! One is just asking to use all the stuff that they are designed to carry - heavy toolkits, spare shocks, spare pistons, etc.

I'm taking advantage of the good weather in the UK at the moment. Yesterday, Sunday, there were scores of bikers traversing the south coast of the UK. They were packed everywhere! Anyway, I hope the weather stays good for the summer, otherwise I'm off to Greece again for some decent weather after my Italian trip I've got lined up to do in May/June! Στην υγειά μας!
