Square Windows on the World

I found this picture today in my "misc" photos folder. This is the first Comet 1 airliner in 1949. Powered by 4 smooth running Ghost turbojet engines one could balance a fork on a threepenny piece during cruise at 35,000 feet. That is until explosive decompression occurred.....
