The PR man should be shot - the new F800GS should be equipped with state of the art disc brakes rather than those hit or miss drum things with leading and trailing shoes and all that stuff.The punters at the NEC don't seem to care - it was almost impossible to get my leg over - In desperation I had to manhandle small snotty nosed children off the saddle only to discover that all the machines on the floor had the low seat option only.
In true BMW fashion even the centre stand is an extra - Never mind I can't afford one so that is that.
